Supplying alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited.

3. Liquor License Compliance

Neilson Meadery operates in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (New Zealand).

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse any sale at our discretion;

  • Cancel orders suspected of breaching the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012;

  • Refuse delivery where valid age identification cannot be produced.

Alcohol will not be delivered to intoxicated persons.

4. Products & Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities purchased;

  • Change pricing at any time;

  • Modify or discontinue products without notice.

5. Pricing

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout and also include GST unless otherwise stated.

Neilson Meadery reserves the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time.

6. Orders

Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

Acceptance of your order occurs only when payment has been processed and the order has been dispatched.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for any reason, including:

  • Suspected fraud;

  • Incorrect pricing;

  • Stock shortages;

  • Licensing or legal concerns.

7. Payment

Payments are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers.

Neilson Meadery does not store full credit card or payment details on our servers.

8. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship within New Zealand only.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or rural delivery schedules.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a delivery is returned due to incorrect details or failed age verification, and additional shipping charges have been incurred, those charges may be forwarded to the customer.

9. Risk & Ownership

Ownership of products passes to the customer once payment has been received in full.

Risk transfers upon delivery to the shipping address provided.

10. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of alcoholic products, refunds or returns are not accepted for:

  • Change of mind;

  • Incorrect customer orders.

If products arrive damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

11. Merchandise

All Neilson Meadery merchandise is custom-printed and made to order. As a result, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or other customer ordering errors. Please ensure you carefully review sizing information and product details before placing your order.

Returns, replacements, or refunds will only be considered where an item is received with a manufacturing defect or fault. Any claim for a defective item must be submitted within 14 days of receipt and include clear photographs and details of the issue.

All defect claims will be assessed in consultation with our print and manufacturing partners. Where a genuine manufacturing fault is confirmed, a replacement, repair, or refund may be offered in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Neilson Meadery reserves the right to decline claims where the item has been damaged through misuse, normal wear and tear, incorrect care, or where the issue does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

12. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • May not be combined unless stated otherwise;

  • May be withdrawn by Neilson Meadery or modified at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logos, branding, product names, images, and text, remains the property of Neilson Meadery unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Neilson Meadery shall not be liable for:
