LIQUOR LICENSE – Neilson Meadery

Off-LICENCE 

Section 17 to 20, and 64, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 

PURSUANT to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act), Neilson Meadery Limited is authorised to sell and supply liquor from the premises situated at 23 Bedford Street, Eltham and known as "Neilson Meadery ", to any person for consumption off the premises. 

Section 40 of the Act applies to this licence; and the licensee is authorised to sell alcohol from (but not on) the premises and deliver it somewhere else. 

CONDITIONS 

(a) No alcohol sold is to be delivered on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, or before 1pm on Anzac Day; or at any time after 11.00 pm on any day and before 6.00 am on the next day. (b) The remote sale of alcohol may be made at any time on any day, however the days and hours within which alcohol that has been sold may be delivered are restricted, as set out in condition (a) above. 

(c) The licensee must take reasonable steps to verify that the prospective buyer of any alcohol is not under the purchase age. For internet orders, the licensee takes such reasonable steps if the website has an age verification prompt: 

i. once when the prospective buyer first enters the internet site; and 

ii. again, immediately before the sale of any alcohol is completed. 

(d) Every receipt or catalogue for the sale of alcohol sold remotely must display: i. The licensee's name 

ii. The licence number 

iii. The date on which the licence expires. 

(e) Any website that the licensee uses to sell alcohol remotely must display an image or a link to an image of this licence. 

(f) The whole of the premises is undesignated. 

(g) The licensed premises are more precisely identified as outlined in the plan date stamped as received by South Taranaki District Council on 30/04/2026 

(h) Delivery must not occur on Easter Sunday unless it is grape wine or fruit or vegetable wine made on the premises or wine made from produce harvested from land on which the premises are situated (e.g. cellar door sells) 

DURATION 

Subject to the requirements of the Act relating to the payment of fees, and to the provisions of the Act relating to the suspension and cancellation of licences, the licence expires on: 12 June 2027
